I provide long distance support for my 73 year old brother. He recently had an in-patient cardiac procedure and inadvertently missed his first follow-up appointment. For my peace of mind, I wanted someone to accompany him to the rescheduled doctor's appointment and if possible, arrange for me to participate in the appointment via speaker phone. Thanks to one of my brother's neighbors, I stumbled upon A Place at Home. I am deeply grateful and appreciative of Casey's professionalism, thoughfulness, organization and kindness. By listening in during the office visit, I gained a better understanding of my brother's cardiac condition and learned about appropriate next steps. My mother had a total knee replacement and some sudden visual loss and we were in need of a caregiver for her when I had to return to work. I contacted A Place At Home and spoke with Casey. He was able to arrange a caregiver with very little notice to help with my mom. Casey and the caregiver Tiffany came the day before her start date to meet my mom and my family. They spent time getting to know what her needs were and her routine. They made the process very easy. A few days later I was also contacted by Casey to make sure all our needs were being taken care of and if we had any issues. Tiffany was outstanding, she made my mom feel like she was being taken care of by a family member. She was very understanding to my mom's needs and provided her with excellent care from dressing, helping her eat and walking with her along with doing her exercises. My mom said the day went by so fast because she enjoyed spending time with Tiffany. I would highly recommend A Place At Home for any caregiving service. ~ Mary Y

Casey and the team provided excellent service and on short notice. This was the second time in a year we have needed his assistance. Casey's years of experience helped our family understand, select and prepare for the needs of my older brother. Caregivers were well trained, attentive and friendly. For a short time we needed 24 hour per day care and then just 10 hours per day care. My brother is healthier now. Should we need home assistance again, we will call. ~ Kevin g

A Place at Home was a godsend to have help us with a family member’s stroke. We needed 24 hour care for several weeks. He takes good care of him but also acts more like a friend than a caregiver, which is very important since he doesn’t want to be “watched”.
